Washoe County School District in Reno, NV, seeks a Special Education Paraeducator Aide II for a 27 hours/week, 180-day schedule at Hunsberger Elementary School. The role provides one-to-one or small-group instructional support in a variety of settings under supervision.

Responsibilities include assisting teachers with implementing individualized education plans, supporting students with developmental, intellectual or physical disabilities, and maintaining a safe, respectful classroom

Qualifications

• Experience assisting students with disabilities or varied needs.
• Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt to classroom routines.
• Willingness to support SPED programs and participate in district training.

Responsabilités

• Assist students with intellectual, physical, or behavioral disabilities in classrooms and during activities.
• Provide attendant services and support health/hygiene needs as directed.
• Assist in recording progress and supporting instruction under supervision.
