Job summary

North Saint Paul Maplewood & Oakdale School District 622 is seeking a 1:1 Special Ed Paraeducator at Skyview Middle School to support individual students during instruction and activities. You will assist with instructional plans, manage materials, monitor behavior, and help with daily living tasks as needed, while maintaining confidentiality and following district policies.

The position is Monday–Friday, 30 hours per week, start ASAP, with pay $24.54 per hour and benefits under the labor

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years of post-secondary coursework (60 credits) or an AA/AS/AAS or higher preferred.
• Passing score on ParaEducator test acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Assist in instruction by providing support and practical training.
• Assist with instructional plans and adaptation of curriculum per teacher.
• Prepare class schedules and organize learning materials.
• Supervise and support students with individualized needs as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and follow district policies.
