Job summary

Qualifications

• Education and experience required for paraeducator roles in special education settings.
• HS diploma or equivalent and state assessment or higher education credentials.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain student records with staff guidance.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated staff with instructional and non-instructional activities for special education students.
• Support students individually or in small groups and monitor behavior for safety.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organize instructional materials.
• Communicate with staff and parents regarding student progress and needs.
• Assist with personal care and basic living skills as required.
