Job summary

Winlock School District seeks a 1:1 Special Education Paraeducator to support students with IEP accommodations and SDI across educational settings. You will assist certificated staff in delivering instructional support and maintaining student safety, including during transportation and transitions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers, regular data collection, and participation in trainings, PLCs, and meetings to promote student success within inclusive classrooms.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with implementing IEP accommodations and SDI.
• Provide individual and small-group instructional support.
• Support students with various disabilities and needs.
• Monitor safety in classrooms, playgrounds, and common areas.
• Collect data on IEP goals and student progress.
• Assist with progress monitoring and reporting to teachers.
• Communicate with teachers about student needs and progress.
• Assist with testing and clerical tasks as directed.
• Supervise students during transitions and school activities.
• Participate in meetings and professional development.
• Collaborate with staff to support student success.
