Qualifications

• Eligible to meet Federally Qualified paraprofessional criteria (2-year degree, 48 college credits, or HELP / ParaPro Exams).
• CPR and First Aid Certification.
• Valid Alaska Driver's license.
• Ability to work well with children.
• Willingness to perform various duties as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assists students with physical tasks and supervision in 1:1 settings.
• Reinforces classroom material under teacher guidance.
• Adapts materials to meet student needs.
• Works with small groups or individuals to reinforce learning goals.
• Maintains confidentiality and supports IEP processes as needed.
