Job summary

Aa210 is seeking a dedicated Aide Special Education Student Specific 1 to 1 for the 2026-2027 school year in TEXAS. The role provides individualized support to an identified student with disabilities to access the curriculum in the least restrictive environment, under the guidance of the classroom teacher.

You will assist with behavioral strategies, academic/functional lessons, personal care as needed, and maintain logs, data, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

48 college hours or Para Professional Assessment completed.
Texas Educational Aide Certification preferred or required.
De-Escalation/Restraint Certification preferred or required to obtain once hired.
Proficient in Windows OS and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

Interact with identified student in various settings to ensure safety and engagement.
Assist with classroom management and supervision of the student at all times.
Implement behavioral strategies as identified by the teacher (ARD-based).
Support instructional materials and independent practice under guidance of the teacher.
Record service implementation on logs and track student progress.
Maintain confidentiality of student information.
