Job summary

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with students, especially with students who require Special Education programming.
• Wisconsin Special Education certification is required; CPI certification is also required.
• ESSA/Highly Qualified status: 48 college credits or a 2-year degree.

Responsibilities

• Work with SPED students based on IEP needs; assist other students as needed.
• Provide information to teachers for instruction and reteaching.
• Supervise and support students in class, meals, and transitions.
• Assist with behavioral objectives using de-escalation techniques per IEP.
• Follow district procedures for seclusion/restraint per IEP.
