Job summary

Career Links is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students in achieving their academic, social, emotional, and developmental potential. You will provide individualized instruction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and design engaging learning experiences that help students thrive in inclusive settings.

Qualified candidates hold a bachelor's degree and a Wisconsin DPI teaching license with Special Education certification, and are eligible to work in Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Wisconsin DPI teaching license with Special Education certification for the assignment.
• Eligibility to work in Wisconsin schools and maintain licensure requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs for assigned students.
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with families and staff.
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet students' needs.
• Deliver engaging instruction with evidence-based strategies and assistive tech.
• Assess progress and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with general education teachers for inclusive settings.
• Maintain accurate records and required documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and administrators.
• Participate in professional development and school activities.
