Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is hiring Instructional Assistants/Education Technicians for school-based positions in Bakersfield, CA. You will work 1:1 with students who will receive Speech services for the 2026-2027 school year.

The rate is $23.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience and education. Position offers consistent school-day hours with benefits including medical/dental/vision and life insurance, a 401K with company matching, and staff support for certification fees and cell phone

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Ability to work with students in-person.

Responsibilities

• Providing assistance to students in school during speech appointments
• Facilitating participation in the speech services
• Collaborating with teachers and SLPs
• Supporting students’ educational programs and implementation of IEP goals
• Assisting teachers with data collection for student progress
