Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Eligibility to obtain Pennsylvania school clearances.
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 nursing care and medical support to a student throughout the school day.
• Accompany the student on the school bus to and from school each day.
• Monitor health status and respond to medical needs as necessary.
• Administer medications per physician orders and school policy.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Follow school district and Department of Health protocols.
• Collaborate with teachers, staff and administrators to support health and safety.
