Huntley Community School District 158 seeks a Paraprofessional 1:1 Aide at Huntley High School for the 2026/2027 school year. The role supports a student with special needs, follows a strict schedule, and helps maintain safety during the school day.

Responsibilities include assisting with academics and daily routines, supporting the teacher to ensure progress toward IEP goals, and performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Must hold an ELS (Paraprofessional) license or PEL.
• Good written and oral communication with staff, parents and students.
• Basic math and computer skills, plus general office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist student(s) with academics and daily routines.
• Follow a strict schedule and maintain safety while school is in session.
• Support student and teacher to meet IEP goals.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
