Chapter One Inc. is seeking an Early Literacy Interventionist (ELI) to deliver personalized 1:1 reading sessions for young learners in a California on-site setting. You will monitor progress, adapt instruction using the company’s structured model, and document each tutoring session in the Chapter One platform.

The role emphasizes building relationships and supporting children to reach reading milestones. Candidates should hold a Bachelor's degree, have reliable transportation, and be available

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year institution.
• Experience using computer software and applications for word processing, email, internet searches and data organization.
• Demonstrated knowledge of office equipment and computer skills such as Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail, or similar programs.
• Strong interpersonal, oral presentation and writing skills.
• Professional, positive, and approachable attitude/demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Must have transportation and ability to work onsite Monday-Friday with flexible hours.
• Intermediate computer and software skills.
• Must pass Chapter One and District required background checks.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor student progress throughout the year using Chapter One's tools and assessments.
• Deliver personalized 1:1 instruction based on Chapter One's structured model.
• Document each tutoring session using Chapter One's platform.
• Assign new practice activities during each session.
• Challenge students to reach each new goal and celebrate student success.
• Maintain ongoing communication and collaboration with managers, classroom instructors, literacy coaches, and administrators.
• Provide basic technology support for the students' use of handheld devices for independent practice.
• Analyze student performance data to inform instructional delivery and accelerate learning.
