Job summary

Kingman Regional Medical Center is seeking a Continuous Observer to provide continuous one-on-one observation under the direction of a registered nurse. The role includes in-room observation, basic comfort services, and ensuring a safe environment while accompanying patients for tests and procedures.

Requirements include being at least 18 years old, Basic Life Support certification, and a high school diploma or GED preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment.
• Verbal skills, hearing, sight and manual dexterity required.
• Must be comfortable working with a diverse population and communicate with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous visual and proximal contact with patients under RN direction.
• Assist with basic comfort services and safe environment maintenance.
• accompany patient during transportation for tests/procedures and document on forms.
• Respond promptly to patient needs following training, policy and procedure.
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation of patient behaviors and actions.
