Job summary

Kingman Healthcare is seeking a Continuous Observer within the Nursing Division to provide constant one-on-one patient observation under an RN. The role emphasizes safety, basic comfort measures, and clear documentation of patient behaviors.

The selected candidate will lift and assist with mobility, support patient rights and dignity, and stay with the patient at all times, including emergencies, while following established policies and training requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) through ARC or AHA.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.
• Ability to communicate with compassion to diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Under RN supervision, provide continuous visual and proximal observation of patients.
• Assist with basic comfort needs and maintaining a safe environment.
• Accompany patients during tests and procedures as needed.
• Document behaviors and actions accurately on required forms.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and involve staff when appropriate.
