Job summary

White Glove Community Care, Inc. is hiring paraprofessionals to work 1:1 with students with special needs on school buses or in classrooms, supporting educational and behavioral goals outlined in students' IEPs.

Responsibilities include supervising student safety on transport and in class, helping students stay on task, coordinating with parents and teachers, documenting observations, and assisting with transitions between activities.

Qualifications

• Government Issued ID
• Social Security Card
• 2 Professional Reference letters
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Physical Form within 1 year
• PPD or Quantiferon lab report
• Rubeola lab report
• Rubella lab report
• 8-10 Panel Drug Screen with 1 year
• Covid-19 Vaccine- (Not required for hire but some schools require it for building entry so it is recommended to submit if you are vaccinated)
• DOE Fingerprint Clearance –$102 Fee
• Orientation Class

Responsibilities

• Supervise the safety of students on the school bus and in the classroom
• Assist the student to stay focused with the lesson plan
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure students needs are being met
• Guide students to maintain routines and transition to different tasks throughout the day
• Document daily student observations and behaviors
