Job summary

White Glove Community Care is hiring paraprofessionals to support students in school environments. You will supervise safety on buses and in classrooms, helping students stay focused on lesson plans and transitions between activities.

Collaborating with parents, teachers, and support staff is essential to meet student needs, while documenting observations and behaviors daily. Orientation occurs at our Brooklyn location after submitting required documents.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; paraprofessional certification provided on site.
• Ability to supervise students safely on bus and in classroom.
• Strong communication with parents, teachers and staff to support student needs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the safety of students on the school bus and in the classroom.
• Assist the student to stay focused with the lesson plan.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure students' needs are met.
• Guide students to maintain routines and transitions between tasks.
• Document daily student observations and behaviors.
