Job summary

Qualifications

• Meets ESSA requirements (associate degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at 100 level or higher; or high school diploma with approved assessments).
• Willingness to learn about special education needs and classroom management.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and compute effectively; operate computers and learn software.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with learning, behavior, daily living and social development; support individual or small groups as directed.
• Provide tutoring, organization help, note-taking, and test proctoring under teacher guidance.
• Lead small group activities and adapt lessons to meet student needs; prepare instructional materials and track progress.
