Job summary

Qualifications

• Education requirements: high school diploma or GED with college credit or associate degree or equivalent Parapro assessment.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Math skills include addition/subtraction of two-digit numbers and basic operations with dollars and units.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with instruction under supervision of the special education teacher.
• Maintain classroom discipline and assist with instructional activities.
• Escort students between rooms and supervise during recess and lunch.
• Assist with IEP implementation and prepare materials and paperwork.
• Support toileting of students as needed.
