Job summary

Mukilteo School District Challenger Elementary in Everett, Washington, is seeking a 1:1 paraeducator for 6.25 hours per day across 180 days annually. The role supports a student with 1:1 needs and runs from 8:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. An immediate start is anticipated.

Responsibilities include assisting the teacher, supervising students, handling basic first aid, and supporting classroom activities to meet state and district standards. Minimum WA paraeducator qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Must have WA State paraeducator qualifications and experience with children.
• Be at least 18 years old and Hold a HS diploma or equivalent; meet one of the listed education options.
• Experience assisting teachers and implementing education plans is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher with daily instruction and planning.
• Supervise students in recess, cafeteria, library, and during bus arrival/departure.
• Administer basic first aid and provide personal care as needed; assist with IEP goals.
