Qualifications

• Minimum WA state paraeducator qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist the teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of instruction for a student with 1:1 support.
• Supervise students during recess, cafeteria, library and bus duties.
• Assist with implementation of IEP goals and related supports as needed.
• Perform classroom clerical tasks and data entry as required.
• Provide first aid and personal care as needed.
• Assist with safety and behavior management in the classroom.

Basic WA Paraeducator qualifications

Associate degree or 72 quarter credits / 48 semester credits at 100-level or higher
