Job summary

Early Learning Preschool in Moses Lake, WA is seeking a Paraeducator Life Skills 1:1 (Medical) to support a student with specialized needs. The role runs 6.25 hours per day across 171 days a year, providing 1:1 medical support under supervision.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 72 college credits from an accredited institution, have a college degree, or pass the ETS Assessment.
• Prior experience with students in individual or small group settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized 1:1 Life Skills support for students with behavioral challenges.
• Coordinate with case manager and school nurse per IEP and health plan.
• Perform delegated medical tasks under RN direction (seizure management, catheterization, diabetes care).
• Assist with lesson plans and instructional materials while ensuring student participation.
• Maintain safety, supervision, and cleanliness in classrooms and health areas.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and follow district policies.
