Job summary

Serenity, LLC in New Jersey is hiring Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in home and community settings.

You will assist with daily living skills, transportation, and documentation while following individualized plans; CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Flexible scheduling, paid training, competitive pay, and meaningful, person-centered work are available across day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass required background checks and DDD screenings.
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Experience supporting individuals with IDD preferred but not required; CPR/First Aid training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with IDD in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living skills and accompany to activities.
• Promote independence and person-centered goals; document progress.
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation.
• Ensure safety during transportation and appointments.
• Follow individualized service plans and progress notes.
