Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring compassionate Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New Jersey.

We offer day, evening, and weekend shifts with flexible scheduling, paid training, and competitive pay. Transportation duties may apply, and you will follow person-centered goals while ensuring safety and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one in-home and community support.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping).
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation and accompany to appointments.
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals.
• Complete service notes and required documentation in a timely manner.
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy.
