Job summary

Serenity, LLC in New Jersey is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide one-on-one in-home and community support for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Sayreville and throughout the state. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years old
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle
• Ability to pass required background checks and DDD screenings
• Smartphone or computer access for documentation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
• CPR and First Aid training will be provided if needed

Responsibilities

• Support community activities, appointments, errands, and social opportunities
• Teach daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, budgeting, and shopping
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized
• Provide safe transportation
• Follow individualized service plans and person-centered goals
• Complete timely service notes and required documentation
• Promote independence, dignity, choice, and self-advocacy
