Job summary

Serenity, LLC is hiring Direct Support Professionals for 1:1 in-home and community support across New Jersey. Roles include assisting adults with IDD in daily living and community activities, with flexible day/evening/weekend shifts and paid training.

Requires a high school diploma or GED, 18+, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. CPR/First Aid training available if needed. Serenity, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum age 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Ability to pass background checks and screenings.
• CPR/First Aid training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support in home and community settings.
• Assist with daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping).
• Assist with personal care and medication reminders as authorized.
• Provide safe transportation.
• Follow service plans and goals.
• Complete timely notes and documentation.
• Promote independence and self-advocacy.
