Applied Behavior Center for Autism in Fisher, IN is seeking a compassionate Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide 1:1 in-home support for an adult with autism in a private home setting.

The role focuses on implementing behavior support plans, helping with daily living skills, and data collection, in a structured environment. Collaboration with a BCBA and family is essential to progress.

Qualifications

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred but not required.
• Experience working with teens or adults with autism strongly preferred.
• Experience with behavior management and de-escalation techniques.
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and consistent.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Implement individualized behavior support plans under the direction of a BCBA
• Support daily living activities and routines
• Collect and record data on behaviors and progress
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
• Assist with de-escalation and behavior management as needed
• Communicate effectively with the clinical team and family
