Job summary

Pinewood Elementary School in Monticello, MN, seeks a caring Education Support Specialist to support a student with developmental needs on a temporary basis. The position runs 6.75 hours per day, Monday through Friday, with availability starting 11/3/2026. Prior experience with children or in a school setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• 60 semester college credits
• Passing Score on the ParaEducator test
• Ability to follow health care plans and maintain confidentiality
• Strong communication skills and a student-centered mindset
• Dependable, flexible, and able to respond to student needs throughout the day
• Passionate about working with children
• Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred
• Supervise students as directed by the supervisor

• Experience working with diverse students and families
