Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, seeks a paraprofessional/behavior aide. The role focuses on supporting students with intensive behavioral needs in K-12 settings, following IEPs and PBIS frameworks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Experience in an educational setting implementing behavioral interventions for students with intensive behavioral needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with an assigned student to meet goals in the IEP.
• Assist in development and modification of behavior support plans.
• Implement and track data on behaviors and progress toward goals.
• Use behavior support and intervention strategies to support students.
• Apply de-escalation techniques and crisis management as needed.
• Foster a positive, inclusive environment for social and behavioral skill development.
• Supervise students and ensure safe movement to and from locations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure consistent plan implementation.
• Provide personal care support as needed and communicate with parents.
