Job summary

Able Stars ABA is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team for 1:1 ABA therapy across home, school, and community settings. You'll work under hands-on BCBA supervision with structured onboarding and ongoing professional development, contributing to meaningful improvements in kids’ lives.

Qualifications

• Must have or be willing to obtain RBT certification issued by the BACB.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA therapy experience or working with children is a plus but not required.
• Strong observational, data collection, and communication skills.
• Able to use ABA software and Microsoft 365 on a personal device.
• Pass a background check is required.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 35 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to clients at home, school, and community settings.
• Implement treatment plans and behavior strategies designed by a BCBA.
• Collect and record client data and progress.
• Complete timely session notes meeting standards.
• Communicate with BCBA supervisor about progress and challenges.
• Collaborate with families and team members for client success.
• Maintain a safe, positive environment during sessions.
• Attend team meetings and ongoing training.
• Follow BACB guidelines and funding source requirements.
