Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Indiana is seeking a heavy equipment operator to safely operate front-end loaders and related machinery at our aggregates site. You will perform pre-operational inspections, maintain material flow, and help load and stockpile materials to support production and customer service.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, comply with safety standards, and collaborate with a team to meet operational goals.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production, mining, quarry, or industrial environment.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
  • Ability to inspect equipment, identify concerns, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Capability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
  • Reliable, adaptable, and able to perform physical job duties in a fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Safely operate front-end loaders and related heavy equipment to move, load, and stockpile materials.

Work Environment

  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
