Qualifications

ATC is looking for a motivated, self-starting individual as a Senior Logistics Technician. This individual will provide support to the logistics team in delivery of materials to worldwide locations.
DUTIES:
- Gather facts and develop appropriate solutions to logistics issues that require senior level attention due to their critical nature and high visibility
- Draft and manage all purchase requests for delivery to vendors and ensure purchase orders are processed in time to avoid any late payments
- Receive and record logistic support tasks for multiple projects, coordinate pick-up and delivery of materials and track shipment status - to include worldwide transport.
- Maintain an inventory of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and work in a warehouse environment where physical and manual tasks are expected to include (but not limited to): operation of pallet jack, packaging several items of various hardware items onto pallets, and preparing pallets for shipping
- There will need to be some flexibility to report from time to time to alternate locations within the National Capital Region as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years working in logistics, specializing in worldwide shipment of materials - to including experience with DOD shipping and protocols
- Valid U.S. driver's license with a clean driving record. (CDL preferred)
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must be able to work well in a collaborative team environment with on-site and off-site staff and clients
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen, currently holding a TS/SCI Security Clearance and be able to obtain TS/SCI w/ Poly.
