Job summary

CATL is seeking an on-site O&M engineer to conduct daily inspections and preventive maintenance of energy storage systems. You will diagnose faults, respond to emergencies, and coordinate with technical teams to minimize downtime and ensure system reliability.

The role also involves commissioning support, data management, reporting, and strict adherence to safety standards while maintaining strong communication with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience in O&M and maintenance of large-scale energy storage projects preferred.
• 3+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Fluent in English; Turkish language is a plus.

• On-site inspections and preventive maintenance of energy storage systems (PCS, BMS, EMS, battery clusters, transformers, switchgear, fire systems).
• Fault diagnosis, emergency response, fault localization, root cause analysis, repairs, and downtime minimization.

Job description

1. On-site Equipment Inspection & Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections, spot checks, and preventive maintenance on energy storage systems (PCS, BMS, EMS, battery clusters, transformers, switchgear, fire suppression systems, etc.) according to O&M plans; promptly identify and resolve equipment anomalies to ensure safe and stable system operation.
2. Fault Diagnosis & Emergency Response: Receive and respond to equipment fault alarms; rapidly perform on-site fault localization, root cause analysis, and repair recovery; coordinate with relevant technical teams on complex faults to minimize downtime and improve system availability.
3. Equipment Commissioning Support: Coordinate resources for post-installation commissioning, grid-connection testing, trial operation, and final acceptance of energy storage projects.
4. O&M Data Management & Reporting: Collect and organize operational data, fault records, maintenance records, and inspection reports; analyze equipment operating status and health conditions; propose optimization recommendations; and regularly produce O&M analysis reports to support equipment reliability improvement.
5. On-site Safety Management & Customer Communication: Strictly enforce electrical safety operation procedures and energy storage industry safety standards; implement on-site risk control and work permit systems; maintain communication and coordination with customers, owners, and relevant partners; provide timely feedback on equipment operation; and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or above

• Languages: Fluent in English, good at Turkish is a plus
