Job summary

Akcansa is seeking a Finance Executive to oversee cash flow, treasury, and trade finance activities in a manufacturing setting. The role emphasizes Eximbank coordination, strong SAP usage, and robust banking relationships across import/export operations.

You will manage payments, FX, and funding processes, while ensuring compliance and accurate month-end closings in SAP. English proficiency and a proactive improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance within import/export manufacturing.
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably SAP FI.
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products including export financing, guarantees, rediscount loans.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; strong English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts, bank positions, payment schedules, and collection plans.
• Manage relationships with banks regarding loans, guarantees, letters of credit, FX transactions, and other financing products.
• Coordinate Eximbank financing, insurance, guarantees, and export-related funding processes.
• Handle payment, collection, FX transfer, and documentation for import/export transactions.
• Review banking, payments, and accounting in SAP and support month-end closing.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our organization, which operates in the manufacturing sector with active import and export operations. You will manage cash flow, treasury, and trade finance activities end-to-end, oversee Eximbank-related processes, and build strong banking relationships, all while working extensively within SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts, bank positions, payment schedules, and collection plans
• Manage relationships with banks regarding loans, guarantees, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and other financing products
• Coordinate and oversee Eximbank financing, insurance, guarantee, and export-related funding processes
• Manage payment, collection, foreign currency transfer, and documentation processes related to import and export transactions
• Review and control banking, payment, collection, accounting, and finance records within SAP, and collaborate with the accounting team during month-end closing
• Monitor export proceeds, manage IBKB/DAB processes, track export commitments, and ensure compliance with Eximbank and rediscount loan obligations
• Analyze financing costs, banking commissions, and credit limits, and monitor financial and foreign exchange risk, reporting findings to management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance roles within import and export-oriented manufacturing companies
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably with hands-on experience in the SAP FI module
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, including loans, letters of guarantee, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and cash management
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products, including export financing, guarantee programs, and rediscount loans
• Familiarity with import/export payment methods, foreign trade regulations, IBKB/DAB processes, and export commitment tracking
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
