Job summary

Akçansa is seeking a Finance Executive to lead cash flow, treasury, and trade finance operations in a manufacturing setting with active import and export activities. The role emphasizes end-to-end management within SAP and strong banking relationships.

You will oversee Eximbank-related programs, monitor payment and collection cycles, and support month-end closing with the accounting team. Fluent English is required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance within import/export manufacturing.
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably SAP FI module.
• Knowledge of banking products: loans, guarantees, letters of credit, FX, cash management.
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products and export financing.
• Familiarity with import/export payments, IBKB/DAB, and export commitments tracking.
• Advanced Excel; fluent English; German a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts and bank positions.
• Manage bank relationships for loans, guarantees, L/Cs, FX, and other products.
• Coordinate Eximbank financing and export-related funding.
• Oversee import/export payment, collection, and documentation processes.
• Review banking, payment, and accounting records in SAP and support month-end close.
• Monitor export proceeds, IBKB/DAB processes, and compliance with loan obligations.
• Analyze financing costs and credit limits; report findings to management.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Finance Executive to join our organization, which operates in the manufacturing sector with active import and export operations. You will manage cash flow, treasury, and trade finance activities end-to-end, oversee Eximbank-related processes, and build strong banking relationships, all while working extensively within SAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor daily cash flow forecasts, bank positions, payment schedules, and collection plans
• Manage relationships with banks regarding loans, guarantees, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and other financing products
• Coordinate and oversee Eximbank financing, insurance, guarantee, and export-related funding processes
• Manage payment, collection, foreign currency transfer, and documentation processes related to import and export transactions
• Review and control banking, payment, collection, accounting, and finance records within SAP, and collaborate with the accounting team during month-end closing
• Monitor export proceeds, manage IBKB/DAB processes, track export commitments, and ensure compliance with Eximbank and rediscount loan obligations
• Analyze financing costs, banking commissions, and credit limits, and monitor financial and foreign exchange risk, reporting findings to management

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience in finance, treasury, or trade finance roles within import and export-oriented manufacturing companies
• Strong SAP knowledge, preferably with hands-on experience in the SAP FI module
• In-depth knowledge of banking products, including loans, letters of guarantee, letters of credit, foreign exchange transactions, and cash management
• Experience with Turkish Eximbank products, including export financing, guarantee programs, and rediscount loans
• Familiarity with import/export payment methods, foreign trade regulations, IBKB/DAB processes, and export commitment tracking
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel; strong command of written and spoken English; knowledge of German is a plus
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
