Job summary

Eaton seeks a Test Engineering role in Turkey to lead Factory Acceptance Testing and script creation for MV/HV switchgear, including protection relay testing and PLCs. You will debug issues, perform root cause analysis, and support manufacturing with preventive actions.

You will also drive digitalization of test processes, creating dashboards with Power BI, automating reporting via Power Automate, and leveraging Excel trackers to improve visibility and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, preferably Electric & Electronics.
• New graduates may be trained for Test Engineering role.
• Experience with electrical test equipment and measurement techniques to verify and validate product requirements.
• Experience applying statistical concepts and methods to analyze test data.
• Experience working in MV/HV switchgears.
• Fluent in English is a must.
• Interest in digital tools, AI-supported analysis, data visualization, and process automation to improve engineering and manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead FAT activities with customer.
• Create FAT scripts related to specified project.
• Troubleshoot and test Primary MV switchgear (Xiria), ATS, and other secondary panel functions.
• Program and test protection relays and PLCs including IEC61850 logic tests.
• Debug and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Perform root cause analysis on critical equipment failures and provide recommendations.
• Provide engineering input for HV switchgear to meet Eaton standards.
• Support digitalization initiatives for test processes, including dashboards and automation.
• Collaborate to develop automation solutions (Power BI, Power Automate, Excel trackers).
