Job summary

Volvo Penta AB in Turkey is seeking a dedicated Order Management specialist for a one-year temporary position. This role focuses on creating, monitoring, and managing sales orders, ensuring accuracy and timely release to production.

You will collaborate with Logistics, Sales and Finance to confirm delivery dates, validate payments, review documents, and support post-order activities. Strong English skills and MS Office proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business-related fields as listed.
• Internship or work experience in foreign trade, order management or logistics preferred.
• Strong communication skills in English and ability to coordinate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Create, monitor, and manage sales orders to ensure smooth processing and timely release to production.
• Review order accuracy and readiness prior to production release to minimize changes.
• Identify and resolve hold codes to prevent delays and keep orders on schedule.
• Coordinate with Logistics and Sales to confirm delivery schedules and provide accurate dates.
• Review payment terms and monitor status to ensure payments are received before shipment.
• Verify payment status in SAP and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Review shipping documents for compliance including Incoterms and quantities.
• Coordinate with customers and logistics teams to ensure seamless shipment readiness.
• Monitor unapplied invoices and support reconciliation with Finance.
• Handle returns, order modifications, and other post-order activities.
• Create debit/credit orders to correct invoicing discrepancies.
• Support inventory optimization by reducing unapproved stock.
• Participate in regional/global meetings and cross-functional initiatives.
