Job summary

Henkel is seeking a skilled Indirect Purchasing Specialist to manage sourcing of machinery spare parts and other operational needs. You will collaborate with internal teams and international suppliers to drive cost-efficient procurement and lead negotiations on pricing and terms.

The role requires a mechanical/engineering background, 3–4 years in purchasing, strong English, and SAP experience. You will monitor supplier performance and support stock optimization across plants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in purchasing, preferably indirect/technical in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in indirect purchasing and spare parts procurement, including supplier sourcing, quotation management, supplier management and commercial negotiations.
• Knowledge of SAP and familiarity with customs regulations and contracts processing.

Responsibilities

• Manage indirect purchasing activities, including machinery spare parts and other operational requirements
• Manage sourcing processes, including supplier identification, RFQs, quotation evaluation, negotiation and supplier selection
• Evaluate supplier quotations from technical and commercial perspectives in collaboration with relevant internal teams
• Identify and develop new and alternative suppliers to strengthen the supplier portfolio and support cost optimization
• Lead negotiations on pricing and commercial terms to improve purchasing efficiency and achieve cost savings
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance
• Coordinate purchasing activities and commercial discussions with international suppliers and machinery manufacturers
• Manage purchasing activities and related data through SAP and relevant procurement systems
• Support to optimizing of plant spare parts stock level
• Check to consumption of spare parts routinely and taking preventive actions

About this Position

In this position, you willtake an active role in indirect purchasing activities, managing sourcing and supplier processes for machinery spare parts and other operationalrequirements. What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical& Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or a relatedengineering field
• 3-4 years of experience inpurchasing, preferably in indirect or technical purchasing within a manufacturing environment
• Experience in indirectpurchasing and spare parts procurement, including supplier sourcing, quotation management, supplier management and commercial negotiations
• Manufacturing or FMCG industryexperience is a plus
• Strong negotiation andcommunication skills with a proactive and results-oriented approach
• Good command of English
• Knowledge of SAP is preferred
• Experience of customsregulations and contracts processing.
