Job summary

Çimsa is seeking an Environmental Engineer to oversee the environmental performance and regulatory compliance of its Ready-Mix Concrete Plants. You will manage permits, water and waste management, dust and emission control, and drive resource efficiency and decarbonization initiatives.

The role involves supporting environmental audits, training plant staff, and collaborating with Ready-Mix Operations, Technical Services, Quality, HSE, and Sustainability teams to strengthen Çimsa's environmental

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management.
Experience in Ready-Mix Concrete Plants is advantageous.
Holder of an Environmental Officer Certificate.
Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permits/licenses, waste and water management.
Experience in dust and emission control, monitoring, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Monitor environmental compliance and regulatory requirements at Ready-Mix Concrete Plants.
Manage environmental permits, declarations, and reporting processes.
Monitor and report dust, emissions, water, and waste KPIs.
Ensure proper management of waste concrete, wash water, and sludge.
Identify environmental risks and follow up on site inspections and improvements.
Support decarbonization, water management, and resource efficiency initiatives.
Prepare for and support environmental audits and inspections.
