Job summary

ÇİMSA is seeking an Environmental Engineer to lead environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives across our Ready-Mix Concrete Plants. You will monitor environmental legislation, manage permits and reporting, track dust, emissions, water and waste KPIs, and drive decarbonization and resource efficiency.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, 5+ years in environmental management, a valid Environmental Officer Certificate, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in environmental management.
• Experience in Ready-Mix Concrete Plants is an advantage.
• Holder of a valid Environmental Officer Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Monitor environmental compliance of Ready-Mix Plants with laws and permits.
• Manage environmental permits, declarations, official notifications, and reporting.
• Monitor, analyze, and report dust, emissions, water, waste KPIs.
• Ensure compliant management of waste concrete, wash water, and sludge.
• Identify environmental risks and follow up on site inspections and improvements.
• Contribute to water management, resource efficiency, recycling and decarbonization initiatives.
• Prepare for and support environmental audits and inspections by authorities.
• Contribute to environmental awareness and training for plant employees.
• Collaborate with Ready-Mix Operations, Technical Services, Quality, HSE, and Sustainability teams.
