Job summary

Çimsa Çimento Sanayi ve Ticaret invites an experienced Environmental Engineer to lead environmental performance, regulatory compliance, and sustainability initiatives for our Ready-Mix Concrete Plants. You will monitor compliance, manage permits, and drive continuous improvements.

You will collaborate with Operations, Technical Services, Quality, HSE, and Sustainability teams, conduct site visits, and support audits while promoting environmental awareness among plant staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in environmental management.
• Experience at Ready-Mix Concrete Plants is advantageous.
• Holder of a valid Environmental Officer Certificate.
• Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, permits, and water management.
• Willingness to travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with environmental legislation, permits, licenses, and legal requirements.
• Manage environmental permits, declarations, and reporting processes.
• Monitor and report dust, emissions, water, waste, and KPIs.
• Ensure proper waste management of concrete wash water, waste concrete, and sludge.
• Identify environmental risks and follow up on site inspections and improvements.
• Support audits and environmental awareness training for staff.
• Collaborate with Ready-Mix Operations, Technical Services, Quality, HSE, and Sustainability teams.
