Job summary

Adalvo is seeking a Supplier Relationship Manager to oversee commercial relationships with CMOs, negotiate terms and prices, and drive COGS improvements. You will coordinate with PM, R&D, BD, Portfolio, and support teams and act as escalation point in issues, while ensuring alignment with contracts and company policy.

Traveling is required for supplier reviews and ongoing cost optimization initiatives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment at Adalvo.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Excellent analytical skills are expected.
  • Ability to understand global business processes and impact of change.
  • Experience and understanding of legal/vendor/customer agreements.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

The position will manage the relationship with Adalvo CMO Partners from commercial perspective - lead contract and price negotiations to achieve best price and value. Person will be the main contact point with the third-party suppliers up to dossier delivery stage and later on for all cost related topics. Monitor supplier performance by gathering feedback from all relevant departments, review and set improvement plans and future initiatives for CMOs.

ORGANIZATION STRUCTURE

This role will report directly to Head of Supplier Relationship Management

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Coordinate early-stage Supply Chain Setup
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships
  • Oversee the breakdown and in-depth analysis of Cost of Goods (COGS), Negotiate terms and conditions with CMOs, ensuring favourable agreements that align with the company's financial and operational goals.
  • Drives COGS reduction initiatives
  • Identify and implement opportunities to optimize COGS, contributing to the overall financial health of the organization.
  • Utilize Salesforce, SAP, and other relevant tools to monitor and manage COGS data effectively.
  • Draft, review, and and negotiating supply contracts with CMOs, ensuring terms are clear, legally sound, and aligned with company policies.
  • Works closely with PM, R&D, BD, Portfolio, and support to ensure business case and supply capabilities on defined Supply Chain
  • Acting as an Escalation point for the Business and Supplier in the event of concerns, ensuring coordination of resolving parties, effective communication to stakeholders and post incident review
  • Drive improvements to existing products, and business ventures
  • Identify opportunities to drive value and improve performance of existing and potential suppliers
  • Defines what to solve according to the market needs, where you articulate the valuable market problem you’re solving along with priorities and justification for each part of the solution
  • Seek ways to improve innovation in processes, reduce costs, manage and reduce risk and stimulate performance improvement.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for CMOs regarding COGS-related matters.
  • Manages Business Reviews with Partners covering performance, service improvements, quality, and processes
  • Travelling is required
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
  • Fluency in English
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to understand global business processes and identify impact of change
  • Experience and understanding of legal documentation (vendor/customer agreements)
  • Experience in the Pharma industry is a must.
  • Experience of managing supply chain relationships minimum 3 years
