Job summary

Yazaki Europe Middle East and Africa is seeking a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to strengthen our team at the Akyazı plant, Sakarya. You will ensure production lines maintain quality control plans, perform root cause analyses, and support customer audits on-site.

Ideal candidates have engineering degrees, 2+ years in Customer/Process Quality within automotive, and fluency in English and Turkish. Relocation to Sakarya or Kocaeli is preferred.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality within the automotive industry.
• Proficient in English and Turkish.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive and able to work in a dynamic production environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for assigned production lines, ensuring quality control plans are updated.
• Conduct root cause analyses for customer complaints and internal quality issues; prepare 8D reports and implement corrective actions.
• Manage customer communication, support audit preparations, and coordinate on-site audit activities.
• Participate in PFMEA studies and help establish quality standards and inspection criteria.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process requirements are implemented in production.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer which will be located in our plant, Akyazı, SAKARYA

What will your job be about?

• Responsible for assigned production lines, ensuring quality control plans are updated and quality processes are effectively maintained
• Conduct root cause analyses for customer complaints and internal quality issues; prepare 8D reports and implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage customer communication, support customer audit preparations, and coordinate audit activities on-site
• Participate in PFMEA studies and support the establishment of quality standards and inspection criteria
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product and process requirements are effectively implemented in production

What will you bring with you?

• Graduates of relevant engineering faculties at universities
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Customer Quality and/or Process Quality within the automotive industry
• Advanced written and spoken English & Turkish
• Good knowledge of quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA, PPAP, and problem-solving methodologies
• Good command of MS Office applications
• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills
• Proactive, result-oriented, and able to work effectively in a dynamic production environment
• Must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the provinces of Sakarya or Kocaeli
