Job summary

Yazaki North America, Inc. in İzmit plant is seeking a Production Vehicle Team Engineer to lead quality initiatives, manage complaint handling, and coordinate rework and product audits with suppliers.

The role focuses on delivering robust quality improvements and supporting manufacturing operations. You will ensure documentation, traceability, and timely corrective actions, while collaborating with customers to resolve nonconformities and drive continuous improvement across the product life

Qualifications

• Technical education/degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Qualification as product/process Auditor desired.
• Work experience of at least 2 years.
• Military obligation completed for male candidates.
• Knowledge in problem solving tools (8D, fish bone, etc.) and customer-specific requirements.
• Live or able to live in Kocaeli.

Responsibilities

• Complaint Management: document failures, report in GQRS, monitor deadlines, and coordinate with customers.
• Rework/Sorting: plan and execute rework at the customer assembly line and coordinate material.
• Product Audits: perform audits and track corrective actions, validate prototypes and samples.
• Support: provide onsite QM support, document deviations, implement corrective actions.
• Interface function: liaise between company and customer on quality topics during new product implementations.

Complaint Management

• Responsible for complaint management process incl. documentation of failures and reporting in GQRS as well as deadline monitoring and exchange of information with the customer
• Responsible for planning and execution of failure analysis of defect parts and prototypes as well as reporting
• Responsible for return of defect parts to supplier to evaluate and eliminate the cause of nonconformities
• Facilitate speedy problem solving of customer returns

Rework/Sorting

• Responsible for rework and repair at customer assembly line and rework area, incl. coordination of material
• Elimination of suspect parts at customer plant and warehouse
• Recording rework and sorting costs

Product Audits

• Execution of product audits and reporting to suppliers, incl. tracking of corrective actions
• Responsible of validation of prototypes and samples
• Assist in supplier audits (on request)

Support

• Overall onsite QM support activities for customer during product life circle (e.g. documentation of deviations, implementation of corrective actions to eliminate the detected nonconformities, ect.)
• Support and implement procedures and work instructions by company.

Interface function

• Interface betweencompany and customer regarding to operational quality subjects
• Support of customer during implementation of new products in assembly process incl. recording in case of deviations.
