Job summary

Tüpraş Trading Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Project Planner/Scheduler to join our İzmit-based team. You will develop and maintain baseline project schedules for investment programs, monitor progress, and prepare control reports to support management decisions.

The role requires 3–5 years in project planning or controls, hands-on Primavera P6 expertise, and strong Excel/PowerPoint skills. Collaborative, proactive professionals will thrive in a dynamic refinery environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project planning, scheduling, or project controls.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, energy, process industries, or large-scale capital investment projects is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in developing, updating, and monitoring project schedules.
• Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, progress measurement, resource and cost planning, and project performance monitoring.
• Experience in reviewing contractor schedules and monitoring performance against contractual requirements.
• Knowledge of delay analysis, EOT, schedule risk assessment, and contractor claims is preferred.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project planning and scheduling tools.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Power BI is preferred.
• Experience with project management systems and digital reporting tools is an asset.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
• Effective communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Collaborative, results-oriented, and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain baseline and detailed project schedules for projects within the Investment Program.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules, perform periodic updates, and revise schedules as required.
• Track physical progress, conduct progress measurements, and prepare project control and performance reports.
• Identify schedule deviations, critical activities, and potential delays, and provide recommendations to project teams.
• Review contractor schedules, progress measurements, and reports to ensure alignment with contractual requirements and project objectives.
• Support the development and evaluation of recovery plans for delayed projects.
• Develop resource, cost, cash flow, and expenditure forecasts integrated with project schedules.
• Support schedule risk assessments and delay analyses, as well as the evaluation of contractors’ Extension of Time (EOT) and claim requests.
• Develop and maintain project KPIs, dashboards, forecasts, and variance analyses to support management decision-making.
• Monitor and report project activities planned during shutdowns and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Participate in project kick-off and contractor progress meetings to monitor planning requirements and schedule performance.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project data in portfolio and project control systems.
• Support the continuous improvement of project controls methodologies, processes, digital tools, and reporting systems.
• Monitor industry developments and relevant standards and contribute to process improvements.

What You’ll Do?
