Job summary

Karadeniz Holding in Istanbul HQ seeks a Project Finance Assistant Manager to join the Project Finance team. You will support strategic financial decisions, perform financial modeling, due diligence, and coordinate with lenders for long-term financings.

The role requires 4-7 years in investment banking, project finance, or related fields, with strong analytical and communication skills and English proficiency. Hybrid work arrangement and ongoing development opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or other qualified discipline of reputable universities,
• 4-7 years of experience in investment banking, project finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, debt restructuring, financial advisory, business, and strategic planning, valuations, feasibility studies in banks, private equity, investment companies or Big 4 advisory departments,
• Good understanding of project financing and structured finance concepts including project finance structures, debt documentation, and non-recourse financing principles,
• Strong financial analysis, legal documentation, and communication skills, with advanced financial modeling capabilities,
• CFA designation or candidate status would be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support strategic financial decisions of the company by providing financial data and analysis, including financial modeling, risk assessment, and investment analysis.
• Actively participate in due diligence activities with leading international financial institutions and private equity firms for long-term syndicated and bilateral structured financings, respond to investors’ queries regarding financial statements and project specifics, and coordinate due diligence processes with lenders, advisors, legal counsels, technical consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in teaser preparations, term sheet and loan documentation discussions in multiple jurisdictions, and support financing transaction execution processes.
• Prepare management reports and presentations, investment memoranda, financing presentations, and internal approval materials.
• Prepare financial and operational reports requested by banks and act as a bridge between the investors and related internal departments and 3rd parties.
• Support the management of relationships with existing and prospective lenders, investors, and financial institutions.
• Build, maintain, and update financial models, including debt sizing, cash flow forecasting, scenario analysis, and sensitivity analysis, and financing structure evaluation.

We are looking for a “Project Finance Assistant Manager” to be assigned to our “Project Finance located in “İstanbul HQ.”.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT?

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or other qualified discipline of reputable universities,
• 4-7 years of experience in the fields of investment banking, project finance, Mergers & Acquisitions, debt restructuring, financial advisory, business, and strategic planning, valuations, feasibility studies in banks, private equity, investment companies or Big 4 advisory departments,
• Good understanding of project financing and structured finance concepts including project finance structures, debt documentation, and non-recourse financing principles,
• Strong financial analysis, legal documentation, and communication skills, with advanced financial modeling capabilities,
• Hard-working, detail oriented, problem solver, proactive and team-player,
• Capable of handling multiple tasks according to deadlines with a focus on key details,
• Excellent command of written and spoken English,
• Excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint; strong financial modeling experience is required, Exposure to international energy and infrastructure projects would be an asset,
• Exposure to international lenders, ECAs, DFIs, and commercial banks would be an asset,
• CFA designation or candidate status would be preferred.

• Conduct financial, commercial, and risk assessments of new projects and investment opportunities.
