Job summary

The Health & Safety team at Tüpraş invites applications for an Occupational Health Physician to join our industrial operations in Turkey. You will conduct pre-employment and periodic health examinations, assess workplace health risks, and maintain accurate health records in line with regulations.

You will work closely with the Technical Safety and Environmental Unit and OHS professionals, provide preventive health services, health screenings, and timely medical interventions as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Faculty of Medicine.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with occupational health in industrial environments preferred.
• Hold a valid Occupational Physician Certificate (Ministry approved).
• Strong knowledge of OHS legislation and practices.
• Proficient in organizing periodic medical examinations and health screenings.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct pre-employment and periodic health examinations of employees,
• Assess occupational health risks in the workplace and provide necessary medical guidance,
• Maintain employee health records accurately and in compliance with applicable regulations,
• Provide preventive occupational health services related to workplace accidents and occupational diseases,
• Plan and implement health screening programs and employee health training,
• Work in close coordination with the Technical Safety and Environmental Unit and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professionals,
• Provide appropriate and timely medical intervention in cases of illness or workplace accidents requiring urgent action.

What We Look For

• Graduate of a Faculty of Medicine,
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in occupational health,
• Preferably experienced in case management within industrial environments,
• Holder of a valid Occupational Physician Certificate approved by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security,
• Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and practices,
• Experienced in periodic medical examinations, health screenings, and employee health information and awareness processes,
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage required medical reporting and documentation accurately,
• Able to adapt to flexible working hours when required.
