Tüpraş Trading Ltd is looking for a Project Engineer/Manager to oversee engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of investment projects in İzmit. You will ensure integration into existing facilities, prepare tender packages, and coordinate interfaces among contractors and stakeholders.

The role requires experience with field instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SCADA, and a strong HSE mindset, with solid knowledge of international standards.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering or project management.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas or large-scale construction projects preferred.
• Experience with contractor management and field execution; strong HSE awareness.
• Knowledge of field instrumentation, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, vibration monitoring systems, and safety devices.
• Knowledge of DCS, ESD, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and Ex-proof equipment applications.
• Knowledge of IEC, ISA, and API standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Manage construction activities and support commissioning and start-up activities.
• Organize and participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements throughout project activities.
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable legislation, procedures, standards, and specifications.
• Support Integrated Management Systems improvements (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).

What You’ll Do?

• Manage the engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases of investment projects.
• Ensure the effective integration of new investments into existing facilities and systems.
• Review process requirements and prepare technical specifications and tender documents accordingly.
• Prepare and evaluate tender packages covering engineering, procurement, and construction scopes.
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
• Coordinate interfaces among engineering, procurement, construction contractors, and relevant stakeholders.
• Manage construction activities and support commissioning and start-up activities.
• Organize and participate in project meetings, technical reviews, and workshops.
• Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety requirements throughout project activities.
• Ensure all project activities comply with applicable legislation, internal procedures, technical standards, and specifications.
• Support the effective implementation and continuous improvement of Integrated Management Systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.

What We Look For?

• 3–5 years of experience in project engineering, project management, or similar roles.
• Experience in refinery, petrochemical, oil & gas, energy, process industries, or large-scale construction projects is preferred.
• Experience in contractor management and field execution, with strong awareness of HSE requirements.
• Experience with field instrumentation, including transmitters, control valves, analyzers, vibration monitoring systems, and safety devices.
• Knowledge of DCS, ESD, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Familiarity with hazardous area classifications and Ex-proof equipment applications.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards, including IEC, ISA, and API standards.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple stakeholders, contractors, and project interfaces.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Good command of English.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented, with a strong sense of ownership.
