Job summary

DP World is seeking an Ocean Freight Operation Manager to oversee end-to-end ocean export/import activities. The role focuses on operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality service to customers.

Responsibilities include leading the Ocean Freight Operations team, coordinating with customers, carriers and internal stakeholders, and driving process improvements while monitoring costs and invoicing accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics or related field.
• 7–10 years of Ocean Freight Forwarding Operations experience.
• 3+ years in leadership or people management.
• Strong knowledge of ocean freight imports/exports (FCL, LCL, Reefer).
• Familiar with Incoterms, customs procedures and trade regulations.
• Experience with ERP and Freight Forwarding systems; proficient in Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end ocean freight import/export operations (FCL, LCL, Reefer).
• Coordinate across customers, carriers, agents and internal teams.
• Monitor schedules, milestones and KPIs; drive improvements.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, procedures and international trade rules.
• Coach and develop the Ocean Freight Operations team.
• Prepare performance reports and manage costs and invoicing.
