Job summary

UN Women Türkiye seeks a National Consultant to develop a strategic narrative for the Push Forward Strategy Paper. You will synthesize project evidence, craft a hope-based narrative and create audience-responsive approaches to engage diverse groups across Türkiye.

The assignment is home-based with travel within Türkiye, requiring strong writing, editing, and coordination with the Programme Team. A Master’s degree and 5+ years in narrative development are expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s or higher in social sciences, political science, sociology, gender studies, communications, public policy or human rights.
• Minimum 5 years in strategic narrative development, advocacy or related fields.
• Experience translating research findings into coherent strategy outputs (strategy papers, policy papers, scripts).
• Fluency in Turkish and English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Synthesize project evidence and develop the Strategic Narrative Framework.
• Develop hope-based narrative principles and framing language.
• Create audience-responsive narrative approaches for diverse groups.
• Integrate the narrative framework into the Push Forward Strategy Paper.
• Coordinate with the Programme Team and other consultants for coherence and delivery.
