Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in public administration, law, human rights, gender equality, management, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of progressively responsible experience in managing complex programmes with national partners.
• Experience in gender equality, women’s rights, gender backlash, civic space dynamics and democratic resilience.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another UN language is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Contribute technically to the implementation and further development of the ECARO Push Forward Strategy.
• Coordinate with Headquarters, UN Women offices and partners to ensure coherence and alignment with priorities.
• Support knowledge management through synthesis of evidence, background docs and learning materials.
• Prepare project briefs, conference papers and donor communications; participate in donor meetings.
• Supervise interns and time/task-bound consultants as needed.
